Today marks the 490th anniversary of Martin Luther nailing his 95 theses to the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany. Although understandably overshadowed by Halloween, today is a far more important reminder of one of the greatest events in the history of the world. It brought about a "schism" or a "revolt" against the established Roman Catholic Church and forever changed the Church, learning, and the world.

changes.. good or bad? elaboration please
I believe that the changes were good. The Roman Catholic Church was keeping the Bible from most people. Plus, they would have had to learn Latin to even read it. When the Bible was translated into various vernaculars, people were changed and were able to see things much more clearly.
Although there is argument over this, there emerged what was known as the "Protestant work ethic." This work ethic produced many advances in agriculture, economics, scholarship, etc.
Most importantly, God did a massive work for his glory and for man's good in and through the Reformation.
